Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on movement, balance, and control rather than strength or aggression.
What makes Aikido different:
No competition
No sparring
No winners or losers
Training is cooperative, calm, and supportive
Instead of clashing with force, you learn to blend with an attack and redirect energy using throws, pins, and circular movement.
-

Aikido is particularly popular with adults because:

progress is steady and personal
